RE: FREE US CITIZENS EARNINGS AND ASSETS

Gentlemen,

A team led by US citizens captured gains exceeding $1.5 billion in the United States. Sonera seized their 3% share of those gains. TeliaSonera, Sweden and Finland support those seizures. They are not satisfied with 97% of a great result. They want 100%. They seek to steal all of the benefits added for so many Nordic families from US families.

We strongly object to these seizures of US citizens’ earnings and assets. Sweden and Finland are duty-bound by treaties and agreements to protect rather than seize US citizens’ earnings and assets. We ask your Governments to respect US citizens’ rights and property. We ask them to exercise their ownership and control of TeliaSonera to compel compliance with those agreements. We ask them to compel return of the more than $115 million seized from US citizens.

We are ending purchases of goods and services from Sweden and Finland. We regret that TeliaSonera’s refusal to discuss an honest and fair solution to this situation compels us to focus our purchasing power on more trustworthy trading partners.
