We Added Great Value
Our Sonera US team added great value. We gave
all stakeholders, great respect. We added great value. We made
good things happen.
We made the difference between success and failure. We carved
out a place for Sonera in the consolidation of four United
States wireless companies into T-Mobile USA. We
captured investments at prices that produced gains of more than
$1.5 billion (EUR 1.1 and SEK 10.9 billion as of July 31, 2009).
The promise of incentive compensation encouraged us to work
smart, hard, and fast.
We added great value. We added more value than Sweden earned
from all of its exports to the United States in 2009. We added
more value in one year than 25,000 Nordic employees. We added
more value than one Nordic employee would add in 500 lifetimes.
The value we added benefits all Stakeholders. That value will
provide cash to pay for 20,000 college degrees; or lifetime
pension payments for 90,000 Nordic pensioners; or one year of
medical care for 500,000 Nordic citizens. Our small share of
that value will pay for the same benefits for our families.
Nordic leaders seek to steal from our families the benefits and
security we added for so many Nordic families.
